Details
Summary
CVE-2023-36533 is a vulnerability affecting Zoom SDKs prior to version 5.14.7. This issue permits an unauthenticated user to trigger uncontrolled resource consumption, potentially leading to a denial of service (DoS) attack via network access. Unlike regular DoS attacks that require significant computational resources or traffic, this vulnerability allows an attacker to exhaust resources by sending specific malicious requests. Although successful exploitation does not grant unauthorized access to systems or data, it can cause significant disruption to Zoom services, making patching an urgent priority.
