Summary

CVE-2024-4733 is a vulnerability affecting the ShiftController Employee Shift Scheduling plugin. This issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor access-level or higher to inject PHP Objects through deserialization of untrusted input contained in the `hc3_session`-cookie. The vulnerability exists in versions up to and including 4.9.57 of the plugin. While a POP chain is not present within the vulnerable plugin itself, one may be established via an additional installed plugin or theme, potentially enabling the attacker to delete files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
