Summary
CVE-2024-4302 is a vulnerability affecting the Super 8 Live Chat online customer service platform. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting JavaScript code into the chat box without authentication. When a message containing the malicious code is viewed by an intended recipient, they become susceptible to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) attacks. The vulnerability arises due to a failure in the platform to adequately filter user input, allowing attackers to manipulate the chat interface.
