Details
Summary
CVE-2024-34069 is a vulnerability affecting Werkzeug, a popular WSGI web application library. Maliciously crafted domains and subdomains can trigger the debugger in affected versions, giving attackers the ability to execute code on a developer's machine. This is possible if the developer enters a debugger PIN, and the attacker manages to guess a URL in the application that activates the debugger. The vulnerability is fixed in Werkzeug 3.0.3. However, it's important to note that the attacker must have some level of interaction with the targeted application and the developer, limiting its potential scope.
