Summary
CVE-2024-26146 is a vulnerability in the Rack Ruby web server interface that can result in a denial of service issue. The vulnerability affects the parsing of Accept and Forwarded headers, causing header parsing to take longer than expected. However, Rack applications using Ruby 3.2 or newer are unaffected as there are mitigations in place. The vulnerability has been fixed in versions 2.0.9.4, 2.1.4.4, 2.2.8.1, and 3.0.9.1 of Rack.
