Summary

CVE-2024-24559 is a vulnerability in the Vyper smart contract language for the EVM. The vulnerability affects various products, including uStpn-, sNNrK5, sNNrK4, and others. The issue arises from an error in stack management when compiling the IR for sha3_64, resulting in a miscalculation of the height variable. However, this vulnerability cannot be triggered from regular Vyper code and requires manual writing of the IR. As a result, the impact is low, and no patch is currently available.
