CVE-2024-22422 is a vulnerability in the AnythingLLM application, affecting versions prior to commit `08d33cfd8`. This vulnerability allows an attacker to crash the server and launch a denial of service attack through an unauthenticated API route. The issue lies in the "data-export" endpoint, which is publicly accessible and does not require authentication. By tricking the input filter mechanism, an attacker can point to the current directory and attempt to delete it, causing the server to crash due to lack of error-handling.
