Summary
CVE-2024-20712 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Adobe Substance 3D Stager versions 2.1.3 and older. This issue represents an out-of-bounds read vulnerability, which means that the software may read beyond intended memory boundaries. Such behavior could potentially result in the exposure of sensitive information. An attacker could exploit this weakness to bypass Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR), a security mechanism designed to make it harder for attackers to execute code injection attacks.
