Summary

CVE-2024-1054 is a vulnerability found in the Booster for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability exists in all versions of the plugin up to and including 7.1.6, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes like 'color'. The risk score for this vulnerability is 25, with a base severity of MEDIUM. It has a CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) vector string of CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N.
