Summary
CVE-2024-0612 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Content Views plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 3.6.2. This issue arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings. Authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, can exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary web scripts. The scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant threat for multi-site installations and those with unfiltered_html disabled.
