Summary
CVE-2023-5616 is a vulnerability affecting Ubuntu's gnome-control-center. The issue lies in the software's inability to correctly reflect the SSH remote login status when the system uses systemd socket activation for openssh-server. Consequently, users may be misled into believing their local machine is not accessible via SSH, when in reality, it remains exposed to remote access. This oversight could lead to unintended security risks.
