Summary
CVE-2023-49682 is a critical vulnerability affecting Job Portal v1.0. The vulnerability allows for multiple unauthenticated SQL injection attacks. Specifically, the 'txtDate' parameter of the Employer/InsertWalkin.php resource does not properly validate characters received, resulting in unfiltered data being sent to the database. As a result, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary SQL commands and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information stored in the database. It is crucial for organizations using Job Portal v1.0 to apply remediation measures promptly, such as updating to a patched version or implementing proper input validation and sanitization techniques to mitigate the risk posed by this vulnerability.
