Summary

CVE-2023-49103 is a vulnerability affecting ownCloud's graphapi version 0.2.x before 0.2.1 and 0.3.x before 0.3.1. The issue lies in the use of a third-party GetPhpInfo.php library, which unintentionally reveals PHP environment details when accessed. This information encompasses all webserver environment variables, potentially exposing sensitive data like ownCloud admin passwords, mail server credentials, and license keys. Containerized deployments are at a higher risk due to the inclusion of these variables. Disabling the graphapi app does not mitigate the issue entirely. Furthermore, the vulnerability poses a concern regardless of the deployment environment, as it exposes various sensitive configuration details that could be exploited by attackers. However, it's important to note that Docker containers created before February 2023 are not susceptible to credential disclosure.
