Summary

CVE-2023-49103 is a vulnerability discovered in the ownCloud graphapi app versions 0.2.x and 0.3.x. The issue arises from the app's reliance on a third-party library that exposes sensitive information about the PHP environment when accessed. This information includes the webserver's environment variables, which may contain sensitive data such as admin passwords, mail server credentials, and license keys. Disabling the graphapi app does not fully resolve the vulnerability, as phpinfo can still expose additional sensitive configuration details. It is worth noting that Docker containers created before February 2023 are not affected by this credential disclosure vulnerability. The base severity of this vulnerability is rated as HIGH with a CVSS score of 7.5, highlighting its potential danger to organizations' confidentiality.
