Summary

CVE-2023-47355 is a vulnerability affecting version 1.0.8 of the com.eypcnnapps.quickreboot application, also known as Eyuep Can Yilmaz (ROOT) Quick Reboot, for Android. This issue exposes broadcast receivers for PowerOff, Reboot, and Recovery (com.eypcnnapps.quickreboot.widget.PowerOff) to unauthorized broadcasts due to missing input validation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to initiate a power off, reboot, or recovery of an affected device without authorization from the user. This poses a significant security risk as it can lead to data loss or unauthorized access.
