Summary

CVE-2023-47048 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that affects Adobe Audition versions 24.0 and earlier, as well as 23.6.1 and earlier. This vulnerability occurs when parsing a crafted file and can lead to reading beyond the allocated memory structure. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute code within the current user's context, but successful exploitation requires user interaction through opening a malicious file. The affected products include lEMfZo, eJ-ABX, mMSMCC, eQLqsc, and trfa0z. The National Vulnerability Database (NVD) rates this vulnerability with a base severity of HIGH and a base score of 7.8 out of 10.
