Summary

CVE-2023-47637 impacts the Open Source Data & Experience Management Platform, Pimcore. In affected versions, a flaw in the `/admin/object/grid-proxy` endpoint allows any backend user with minimal permissions to execute arbitrary SQL statements, potentially altering data or escalating privileges to admin level. This vulnerability arises due to the `Multiselect` class's `getFilterCondition()` implementation that fails to normalize, validate or escape input. Upgrading to version 11.1.1 is the recommended solution, as no workarounds are available to mitigate this issue.
