CVE-2023-4690 is a vulnerability found in the Elementor Addon Elements plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 1.12.7. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to perform Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks by exploiting missing or incorrect nonce validation on the eae_save_config function. This enables attackers to change configuration settings for the plugin if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
