Summary

CVE-2023-44467 is a new vulnerability affecting the langchain_experimental component of LangChain before version 0.0.306. This issue permits an attacker to bypass the fix for CVE-2023-36258 and execute arbitrary code through the use of __import__ in Python code, which is not restrained by pal_chain/base.py. This vulnerability poses a significant risk for those who have not yet applied the patch for CVE-2023-36258, as it enables attackers to bypass the intended security measure. Organizations using LangChain are advised to update to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
