Summary
CVE-2023-4049 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Firefox versions prior to 116, Firefox ESR versions prior to 102.14, and Firefox ESR versions prior to 115.1. The issue stems from race conditions in Firefox's reference counting code, which were discovered through code inspection.
