Summary

CVE-2023-38073 is a newly identified vulnerability that affects multiple Siemens software versions, including JT2Go V14.3.0.1 and various Teamcenter Visualization releases, as well as Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2201 and V2302. These applications contain a type confusion vulnerability when processing WRL files. An attacker can exploit this flaw to execute code in the context of the current process, potentially leading to significant security risks. Users are strongly advised to update their affected software to the recommended versions to mitigate this issue.
