Summary

CVE-2023-37255 is a vulnerability found in the CheckUser extension for MediaWiki versions up to 1.39.3. The vulnerability allows for HTML injection through the User-Agent HTTP request header in the "get edits" type check in the Special:CheckUser page. This vulnerability affects numerous products, including Xz2hff, Xz2hfe, Xz2hf_, and many others. The risk score for this vulnerability is 25. To remediate this issue, it is recommended to update MediaWiki to version 1.39.4 or later, which contains a fix for the vulnerability.
