Summary

CVE-2023-3293 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the GitHub repository salesagility/suitecrm-core before version 8.3.0. Malicious scripts injected into the repository could be executed in users' browsers when they view affected pages, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft. Attackers could exploit this vulnerability by creating a specially crafted GitHub Gist or page and tricking users into visiting the malicious content. The vulnerability poses a significant risk to users who rely on the salesagility/suitecrm-core repository and have not yet updated to a patched version.
