Summary

CVE-2023-31029 is a vulnerability affecting the NVIDIA DGX A100 baseboard management controller (BMC). The vulnerability resides in the host KVM daemon, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to trigger a stack overflow by sending a specially crafted network packet. If successfully exploited, this vulnerability could result in arbitrary code execution, denial of service, information disclosure, and data tampering. The affected products are pqr6nM and pqr6nO. To remediate the issue, it is recommended to apply the necessary security patches or updates provided by NVIDIA.
