Summary
CVE-2023-28364 is an Open Redirect vulnerability that affects Brave Browser Android versions prior to 1.52.117. This vulnerability allows the built-in QR scanner in the browser to automatically navigate to scanned URLs without showing the URL first, which poses a potential danger to organizations. However, after the update, users are now required to manually navigate to the URL, reducing the risk of being redirected to untrusted sites. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.1 (Medium severity) and does not require any privileges or user interaction for exploitation.
