Summary
CVE-2023-2270: Netskope client service, which runs with NT\SYSTEM privileges, is susceptible to a local file manipulation vulnerability. The service accepts network connections from localhost to start various services and execute commands. The connection handling function of the Netskope client, prior to version R100, uses a relative path to download and unzip configuration files. This vulnerability allows local users to write arbitrary files at a location accessible only to higher privileged users, potentially leading to code execution with NT\SYSTEM privileges on the affected machine.
