Summary

CVE-2023-20133 is a vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco Webex Meetings. It allows an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the interface. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in Webex Events (classic) programs, email templates, and survey questions. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need to persuade a user to click on a malicious link. If successful, the attacker could execute arbitrary script code in the affected interface or access sensitive browser-based information. This vulnerability affects multiple products and has a risk score of 28. The base severity is rated as MEDIUM, with low privileges required and user interaction required for exploitation.
