Summary
CVE-2000-0131 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting War FTPd versions 1.6x. Maliciously crafted MKD (Makedirectory) and CWD (ChangeWorkingDirectory) commands, which are too long, can cause the server to crash and result in a denial of service. This issue can be exploited to disrupt normal operations of the FTP server. Against this vulnerability, it's essential to update to a patched version or configure the FTP server to limit command length to prevent potential attacks.
