Summary
CVE-1999-1370 is a vulnerability affecting the setup wizard (ie5setup.exe) of Internet Explorer 5.0. During an unattended installation, this vulnerability disables the screen saver, potentially leaving systems exposed to unauthorized access if a failure occurs. Furthermore, it deactivates the Task Scheduler Service, which may impede the execution of crucial security applications. These issues were addressed in subsequent patches to ensure proper system functionality and security.
