Summary

CVE-1999-1370 is a vulnerability affecting the setup wizard (ie5setup.exe) of Internet Explorer 5.0. During an unattended installation, this vulnerability disables the screen saver, potentially leaving systems exposed to unauthorized access if a failure occurs. Furthermore, it deactivates the Task Scheduler Service, which may impede the execution of crucial security applications.
