Summary
CVE-1999-0406 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the nsralist component of Digital Unix Networker. This issue permits local users to exploit the flaw and gain root privileges on the affected system. By sending specially crafted input to nsralist, attackers are able to overwrite memory beyond the intended bounds and potentially execute arbitrary code.
