Summary

CVE-2024-6402 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability that affects the Tenda A301 device running version 15.13.08.12. The issue lies in the fromSetWirelessRepeat function of the SetOnlineDevName.goform file. An attacker can remotely exploit this stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability by manipulating the devName argument. The exploit code has become public, increasing the risk of attacks. The vulnerability is identified as VDB-26994. Sadly, the vendor was notified about this disclosure but failed to respond.
