Summary

CVE-2024-6388 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Ubuntu Advantage Desktop Daemon. Marco Trevisan uncovered that prior to version 1.12, this software unsecuredly transmits the Pro token in plaintext to unprivileged users, posing a significant risk of unauthorized access and privilege escalation.
