Summary
CVE-2024-6376 is a vulnerability affecting MongoDB Compass, an graphical user interface for MongoDB. The issue stems from insufficient sandbox protection settings in Compass' connection handling, which may allow code injection using the ejson shell parser. This vulnerability can potentially be exploited in MongoDB Compass versions prior to 1.42.2.
