Summary

CVE-2024-6163 is a vulnerability affecting Checkmk versions prior to 2.3.0p10, 2.2.0p31, and 2.1.0p46, as well as versions equal to or older than 2.0.0p39. This issue allows unauthenticated remote attackers to bypass authentication and gain unauthorized access to sensitive data through certain http endpoints in Checkmk. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could potentially result in significant information disclosure or even system takeover. Users are strongly urged to upgrade their Checkmk installations to the latest patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
