Summary
CVE-2024-5996 is a vulnerability in the Soar Cloud HR Portal, affecting the wdl9An product. The issue arises from the notification emails sent by the portal, which include a link with an embedded session. These emails are transmitted without encryption, making it possible for an attacker to intercept and obtain the plaintext session information. By doing so, the attacker could potentially log into the system. The vulnerability has a high base severity score of 8.8 and poses a significant risk to organizations using this product.
