Summary
CVE-2024-5896 is a critical vulnerability affecting the SourceCodester Employee and Visitor Gate Pass Logging System 1.0. The function "save_users" in the file "/classes/Users.php?f=save" is the source of the issue. Manipulation of the argument "id" allows for sql injection, enabling remote attackers to exploit this vulnerability, which has been disclosed to the public. This exploit, identified as VDB-26814, may already be in use by cybercriminals.
