Summary

CVE-2024-5892 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Divi Torque Lite plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 3.6.6, allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts via the 'support_unfiltered_files_upload' function. Due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, these scripts are stored and executed whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to website security and can lead to data theft or unauthorized actions. It is advised that users upgrade to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
