Summary
CVE-2024-5757 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.6.35, permits authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into the site title widget's url attribute. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping are the root causes of this vulnerability, leading to arbitrary web scripts execution whenever a user accesses an injected page.
