Summary
CVE-2024-5665 is a vulnerability affecting the Login/Signup Popup plugin for WordPress, versions 2.7.1 to 2.7.2. This issue allows authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to bypass capability checks on the ‘export_settings’ function. Consequentially, attackers can unauthorizedly access and read arbitrary options on affected sites. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to websites running the susceptible plugin versions, and it is recommended that users update to the latest version promptly to mitigate this threat.
