Summary
CVE-2024-5663 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Cards plugin for WordPress, specifically its Cards widget. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.1.3, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. These scripts are then executed whenever a user accesses an injected page, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes.
