Summary

CVE-2024-5656 is a vulnerability that affects the Google CSE plugin for WordPress in all versions up to and including 1.0.7. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, leading to stored cross-site scripting (XSS). This can occur in multi-site installations or installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. The risk score for this vulnerability is 30, with a base severity of MEDIUM.
