Summary

CVE-2024-5638 is a vulnerability affecting the Formula theme for WordPress. It allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages by exploiting the 'id' parameter in the 'ti_customizer_notify_dismiss_recommended_plugins' AJAX action. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 0.5.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their Formula theme to a version that includes a fix for this issue.
