Summary

CVE-2024-5427 is a vulnerability that affects the WPCafe – Online Food Ordering, Restaurant Menu, Delivery, and Reservations for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress in versions up to and including 2.2.24. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to execute arbitrary web scripts on injected pages due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. The affected products include various versions of wNDLcA, wNDLcB, wNDLcC, wNDLcD, wNDLcE, wNENmU, wNENmV, wNENmW, wNENmX, wNENmQ, wNENmR, wNENmS, wNENmT, wNCpA2, wNCpA3, wNCpA1, wNCpA8, wNCpA9, wNCpA6, wNCpA7,wNDLb9,wNDLb-,wNCpA4,wNCpA5,wNDLb_. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update the plugin to the latest version available. The potential danger posed by this vulnerability includes the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
