Summary

The vulnerability with the CVE ID CVE-2024-5418 affects the DethemeKit For Elementor plugin for WordPress in all versions up to and including 2.1.4. It is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. This can occur through the 'slitems' attribute within the plugin's De Product Tab & Slide widget. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. The potential danger of this vulnerability is that whenever a user accesses an injected page, the injected scripts will execute.
