Summary
CVE-2024-5326 is a vulnerability affecting the Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks and WordPress Blog Plugin – PostX. In affected versions up to 4.1.2, the 'postx_presets_callback' function lacks sufficient capability checks. This issue grants authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, the ability to modify arbitrary options on the site. Potentially harmful consequences include enabling new user registrations and setting the default role for new users to Administrator.
