Summary

CVE-2024-5141 is a vulnerability found in the Rotating Tweets plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.9.10 of the plugin. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts on pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. Several products, including wSiGd0, wSiGd1, wSiGd2, wS2hFU, wS2hFS, wS2hFT, wS2gmQ, wS2gmR, wSiGdz, wS2hFR, and wS2gmP are affected by this vulnerability.
