Summary

CVE-2024-5088 is a vulnerability found in the Happy Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 3.10.8, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts via the '_id' parameter. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping are the causes of this Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. The potential danger lies in the fact that these injected scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the compromised page.
