Details
Summary
CVE-2024-5025 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Memberpress plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to and including 1.11.29, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The 'arglist' parameter is the point of entry, where insufficient input sanitization and output escaping exist, enabling the attacker to store their code for later execution. This vulnerability poses a significant risk as any user accessing an injected page will unwittingly execute the hidden scripts.
