Summary
CVE-2024-4943 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Blocksy theme for WordPress. This issue, which arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'has_field_link_rel' parameter, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. These scripts will be executed whenever a user accesses a page with the injected content, posing a significant security risk. All versions of Blocksy up to and including 2.0.46 are impacted by this vulnerability.
