Summary
CVE-2024-4891 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Essential Blocks – Page Builder plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 4.5.12 are impacted by this issue. Malicious scripts can be injected via the 'tagName' parameter, which is subjected to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This flaw allows authenticated attackers, those with contributor-level permissions and above, to execute arbitrary web scripts on pages that unsuspecting users will access when visiting injected pages.
