Summary
CVE-2024-4823 is a newly identified cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting School ERP Pro+Responsive 1.0. This issue resides in specific parameters, including es_bankacc, es_bank_name, es_bank_pin, es_checkno, es_teller_number, dc1, and dc2, within the index '/schoolerp/office_admin/'. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted JavaScript payload to an authenticated user. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to partially hijack the user's browser session, potentially executing malicious code and gaining unauthorized access to sensitive information. System administrators are urged to update their School ERP Pro+Responsive installations as soon as possible to mitigate this threat.
