Summary
CVE-2024-4536 is a vulnerability affecting Eclipse Dataspace Components versions 0.2.1 to 0.6.2. In the EDC Connector component, an attacker could potentially obtain OAuth2 client secrets from the vault. The issue stems from the OAuth2-protected data sink feature where the consumer-provided clientSecretKey is resolved in the provider's vault, exposing the secret value in the tokenUrl and allowing unauthorized access to data sinks. This vulnerability has been mitigated by disabling the feature entirely.
